Basics of:
"Flowers of Sulfur" is now diificult to find - I did, from a local pharmacy; however, the pharmacist said he knew nothing of it as a cure for Valley Fever, only that people commonly used it in the process of making dried fruit, and that prior to antibiotics doctor's once prescribed its use to battle bacterial and viral infections.

DIFLUCAN

Many people know me as quite skeptical of the value of "practicing physicians."  Of course, if you had walked in my shoes, you might be equally leery of the typical medical advice dispensed to us all these days.  That said, I do still check in with a internal medicine specialist when I feel it to be necessary or prudent.  I would not ever suggest that you ignore the availability of medical help available to you; my concern is that you not enter into any agreement with a doctor where you make a decision without being completely knowledgeable of your specific situation first!   Yes, it would be nice to believe that we can "trust" people, especially our doctors; but, at what cost?  At what point would you say, "Enough is enough" ?
My commitment to myself is that if God wants me to live, then whatever health problem I may have, I will die from the primary infection and not a secondary development by fighting the first problem so hard!  Do you follow me?  I was being treated by chemical therapy with the drug "amphyteracin B" in both the Fall of 1984, and the Summer of 1985.  I did not get that far into the treatment regimen the second time when the rising poison level of my kidneys demanded I be removed from this procedure.  Unfortunately, I was treated like a "guinea pig" - I was left on the treatment too long, and it's a miracle I'm not on kidney dialysis today!
Needless to say, my family doctor wasn't happy at all with the specialist!  I was taken off the drug immediately, at the time the family doctor discovered what was happening.  It is not yet legal for doctor's to experiment on humans!  That's what rats are for.  Besides, whatever happened to the doctor's credo: "Do no harm"?
Have any of you ever been sick, really sick?  Better, were you so sick that people around you had no idea how to talk with you, and chose instead to repeatedly ask, "How are you feeling?" - as if you appeared to them to be nearly dead.  Of course, you would then answer, in kind, "Fine;" but, you only did so because you knew all too well that they didn't want to hear the truth.  That's what happened to me; and I finally had enough of it.  I moved away, leaving Los Angeles for Seattle.   You would, too, most likely, if you had to endure that question being posed to you 14 times a day, 365 days a year!
Nizoral didn't work all that well.  And be careful with it, especially if you take herbal stuff: Nizoral and Echinacea are NOT a good combo!  Talk with your doctor about what you are doing, even if they are not schooled in "nutrition."  For those of you who have heard that DIFLUCAN is a cure for people with valley fever, it isn't; it's merely a synthetic drug, created to combat something else entirely that has cross-over value as a "maintenance drug."  What is a maintenance drug, you ask?  It provides a stabilizing influence on the effects of valley fever on the body, providing for a better quality of life, while we await a true "cure."

Does the "Sulfur Cure" really work?
PREVIOUSLY I WROTE:
I was about to find out for myself, when discretion won out, and I'm now waiting for more guidance before taking it (I did finally find a bottle of this hard to get material: $2.61, plus tax!  The gelatin caps were $5.00/100 - little plastic, dissolveable covers for ingesting the sulfur cost more than the material itself!
Additionally, if you haven't heard, in advanced cases of valley fever, some people are now being given amphyteracinB at 5 times previous dosage amounts by use of a lipid covering for ingesting it where purportedly there is then No Side Effects where previously there was.  It's extremely expensive, and I'm not considered overly troubled by valley fever to be considered for it.  Yes, there are other people out there in worse shape than me from the onslaught of Valley Fever in their bodies.  My question is: How can something previously so highly toxic be non-toxic if sent directly to the stomach?  not fed to somebody intravenously.  More to come on that score; however, it makes my mind work in this fashion: If amphyteracin B can be rendered non-toxic and ingestable, then what do I have to worry about ingesting "Flowers of Sulfur"?  I'll be posing that question to my doctor very shortly...
MORE RECENTLY:  Yes!  I have tried "The Sulfur Cure" and so far I am alive & well, and willing to tell you about my experience.  First off, let me say, I was "ticked off" at my doctor's response to my questions - as if I was needlessly troubling him with a matter he considered nonsense, or a nuisance.  Well, what would you do if your doctor's logic was found faulty, he began to back-track, try to regain authority and slam you with the good news of intending to eventually administer the newest drug therapy to you shortly?  I'm sorry, but I was very disappointed with his response to my (valid) questions, especially since he pleaded for me to stay with his "tried & true methods" that provided only a false, albeit simulated cure 4 years ago!  Last Summer, my titer count was at 16:1, but he didn't bother to tell me until I saw him again in January, 2000!  It went up to 32:1, which didn't alarm him - but it alarmed me!  For some dumb reason, today he is more concerned with "sed rate" than "titer count."  Whatever - high titer counts still bother me!  So, I took "The Sulfur Cure."  I feel better; but, that may also be due to a better semi-vegetarian diet, better (elliptical bike/low knee impact) workout regimen, and MSM for pain & inflammation relief...  My knee isn't "warm to the touch" at this time; I don't have a "flare" reaction of internal twisting of muscle fibers, ligaments & tendons like I had experienced just a few months earlier this year (walked with a cane at times because of the pain).  It took more than just a few days to feel like anything was happening: my best guess is that "The Sulfur Cure" actually allows for the body to discard the infectious material, instead of settling for Diflucan merely harnessing it, encapsulating it, preventing it from reproducing but unable to discard it outside of major surgery assistance.  I'll hopefully have blood test results back soon, and therefore data to share that will hopefully indicate my guesses to be correct.  All I can say at this time is: I feel much better!

    Love.  Joy.  Peace.  Patience. Contentment.
        Does that describe your life?
